Dawar is the central township in the area. the population of the area is estimated to be about 30,000
and is scattered among fifteen villages. the valley is extremely picturesque, as the river comes dashing
along through a rich meadow, partly covered with lindens. Walnut and willow trees, while the mountains
on either side present nothing but a succession of most abrupt precipices, and alpine lodges covered
with fir trees.

Keran Valley has a rich historical and cultural significance that dates back centuries. According to
legends, the village of keran was established by Raja Karn in the tenth century

Bungus Valley is the most pristine offbeat place in Kashmir .situated towards the Kupwara district of
Kashmir, the lush meadow valley is famous for its serene and raw landscape which mostly is dominated
by grassy and wavy meadows along the famous river Mawri.
This valley in Kashmir has two meadows one is called big bangus and another small Bungus. The meadows
of this valley are surrounded by the towering.

After breakfast, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. the drive past colorful villages and rice
fields gives you an insight into the rich cultural past of Kashmir. we arrive at the small picturesque
market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometres to Gulmarg. we arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon. Board the gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the mountain
range. overnight stay at Gulmarg.

Head back to Srinagar after breakfast.
